2/6/2007 NEW MATERIAL and GUNNISON
Hey everyone! Gripweed has had to give up the spacious garage @ casa Downing for the warmth of Hockett House. Needless to say, we spent all of last week's practice writing, playing, and experimenting with 6 or more new songs. Now that we have a year under our belt, a CD released, several festivals, and some great moments of fun and nonesense, the entire band is bringing the new material to the table. I am very excited about the new "sounds", and hope to get some practice recordings, etc. posted on the site soon! Also, the addition of guitarist and great friend Ehren Crumpler is making lots of sense to our ears, so please welcome him to the family! Hope to see you at the next show: Gunnison Brewery waaaaay up in the mountains o feb. 16th! Peace, see you dancin'! JD&MG

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Gripweed just played our 1st show of 2007 @ The Aggie Theatre with our pals Motorhome. It was a great evening, packed house, on a cold evening in Colorado, with lots of snow and ice, and lots of dancin' inside! Check the board for the setlist, and we look forward to diggin even deeper during our second year as JD&MG! Peace, treat each other well, and hope to see you soon!
